Homeowners own their own building and share in the ownership of all the common property of more than 45 acres. The dues cover the cost of landscape care and maintenance. Water and sewer costs are included in the monthly assessment for most homes. Seven homes on Camino Bacelar have a reduced assessment and thus pay their individual water and sewer bills from the City.
The Board of Directors has a landscape committee which oversees the work of a professional landscape company. The Association has hired Mission Management to to manage our Association according to the customs and the laws of the State of Arizona.
The Board of Directors has up to nine directors who supervise volunteer committees that help Colonia Verde remain an attractive and engaging community. The Community Club organizes many community events - all residents are welcome to participate.
